We're not based in the GCC. Can you still work with us?
Yes. Our practice is built around remote delivery, and we take on engagements across the GCC, USA, UK, Canada and Australia, and globally. Wherever your project sits, distance has no bearing on the quality of our measurement, reporting or responsiveness.
Do you only handle Quantity Surveying, or broader project management too?
Quantity Surveying and Cost Consultancy is the only discipline we practice. That focus is deliberate. It means every hour we spend is directed at cost, from pre-contract take-off through post-contract final accounts.
How quickly can you start on a live tender?
Turnaround depends on scope and current workload, but with more than 25 quantity surveyors on our team, our delivery is structured around your programme, not ours. Tell us your tender deadline and we'll confirm what's realistic before you commit.
Can QCons place surveyors directly within our project team?
Yes. Beyond full consultancy engagements, we offer resource secondment, placing experienced quantity surveyors within a client's own team on-site or remotely. See the Resource Supply section above or get in touch to discuss scope.
What do you need from us to prepare a BOQ?
Typically the latest drawings, specification, and any existing cost plan or budget. The more complete the design information, the more accurate and defensible the resulting BOQ.
Is our project and financial information kept confidential?
Yes. Every engagement is treated as confidential, and documentation is shared only with the people you authorise on your project team. We also operate a Chinese Wall, or information barrier: an arrangement within a firm to prevent confidential information being shared between teams where a conflict of interest exists. It can include separate teams, restricted document access and confidentiality procedures.
How are your fees structured?
Fees are quoted per engagement based on scope, project value and the stage of support required. Get in touch with your project details for a straightforward quote.
Do you need a QS team but don't have one in-house?
Yes. QCons can provide a dedicated Quantity Surveying team to manage your project requirements without the need to build an in-house QS function. We can support you on a service or package basis, covering everything from measurement, BOQs and tendering through to valuations, cost reporting and final accounts. Where required, we can also manage the QS function on your behalf, with our surveyors working directly with your clients and project team while receiving dedicated technical and commercial support from QCons in the background.
